Student entry deadline extended

The entry deadline for the 2024 RTDNAC Student Awards has been extended to Sept. 23. The original deadline was Sept. 16. Students can enter 10 categories. Awards will be presented during an awards luncheon on Nov. 9 in Charlotte.

RTDNAC is a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to showcasing the best broadcast journalism in North Carolina and South Carolina and supporting college students who aspire to a journalism career.

Each fall, RTDNAC holds a convention, recognizing the best in broadcast and digital work in the Carolinas. RTDNAC also holds a spring workshop for students interested in sharpening their skills.

Finalists announced for 2022 RTDNAC Awards

The finalists for the 2022 RTDNAC Awards have been announced. There were more than 570 entries in the professional division this year from a variety of stations in North and South Carolina. The student finalists will be announced in the coming days. Winners will be awarded during a luncheon at Charlotte Motorspeedway on Nov. 12.
